An accomplished academic, Shanique graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and earned her Master of Science in Music (Performing Arts Management) from Florida International University. A pivotal moment in her journey was her internship with the legendary Debbie Allen in Los Angeles, where she honed her skills in ballet, African, contemporary, and hip-hop dance while learning the intricacies of managing a successful dance studio.
Shanique’s choreography career took off at Street Beat, Inc., followed by a consultancy role with Prime Time, Inc. There, she co-created the innovative “Movement” dance module, which has set the standard for out-of-school dance workshops across Palm Beach County. As a Dance Artist and eventually Artistic Director for Street Beat, Inc., she has choreographed and produced countless successful dance and theater productions, earning accolades such as the “One Child At A Time” Award and the “Florida After School Alliance 21st CCLC Award of Excellence.”

But her impact doesn’t stop there! With an unwavering passion for the arts and community, Shanique made history as the youngest Mayor and Commissioner for the City of South Bay during her tenure.
Her administration championed transparency, fiscal accountability, and engaging youth initiatives, demonstrating her incredible ability to motivate and mobilize people for positive change.

Now, Shanique is focused on shaping the lives of young people in the Glades through dance and mentorship at her studio, Ascension 33 Dance Studio. With its charitable arm, Ascension 33, Inc., she lives by the mission, “Where movement comes alive, our well-being elevates to a higher level.” Through her work, she inspires the next generation to embrace their potential and dance their way to a brighter future!

Professionally, Darial has performed with companies such as the Sean Greene Dance Factory, and his work has been showcased at esteemed venues including the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Palm Beach Cultural Council, and the Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center.

Now expanding his career in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Darial performs in professional residency shows such as DISCO Show, appears in music videos, and works as a model and creative collaborator. Despite his growing presence in the entertainment industry, he remains grounded in his purpose—continuing to train, evolve, and use his gifts to uplift others through movement.
